Peter Collins first began building his career in music by posting videos of himself covering songs on his social media accounts, and people instantly fell in love with him, his voice, and his music. His soft, smooth, gentle but immensely soulful voice is comforting to any ear.  He is a vocalist whose spirit is as gentle and captivating as his mesmerizing, sultry, voice.  The vocal control he maintains as he masterfully navigates between his registers is astounding. He is truly a singer’s singer.

Peter will release his album, "Love and Mind, deluxe edition" - available March 5, 2021.  Peter's sound is an eclectic mix of R&B, Soul, and Jazz with an Inspirational foundation. He's inspired by the music and sounds of the past mixed with his creative fresh perspective. It is this binding together of the past with the present moving into the future. Creating a mood for people is what he desires.  The way he sings, his goal is to provide the listener with a whole host of intimate emotions.  In an ever-changing world with increasing violence, hate, hurt, and hopelessness, Peter’s mission is to spread love, peace, joy and healing through the power of words and music.  His prayer is that by listening to his music, one’s faith will be strengthened, and hope will be restored.
Pulling inspiration from nature, all things and everywhere, Peter's journey as an independent artist has taken him all over the US and beyond meeting some incredible people. The music that he creates is totally organic and genuine, and it is all driven by his love and passion for God and music. Peter draws from all the genres not belonging to just one. He is inspirational; he is R&B; he is soul; he is jazz; he is music from other cultures. All with his relationship with God at the center.  Creating music is his genre.

Hello! My name is Tangela Smith I am a Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence therapist at Haven. I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Big Rapids, Michigan.  As early as I can remember, I have always had a passion for helping others.  I have felt a deep pain in my heart and spirit for those experiencing and living with the impact of trauma whether it be from systemic racism/oppression or sexual violence.   Growing up I experienced many of things highlighted by BLM, #metoo, and many other movements aimed at acknowledging racism, prejudice, sexism, and other forms of oppression. These experiences ignited my passion to speak out about the injustices in the world and support those needing help on their healing journey. I received my Bachelors in Science majoring in Psychology and Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Central Michigan University.

While at CMU I gained experience and knowledge on how to support survivors of sexual violence. I joined a volunteer organization Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates (SAPA) that provided support to the CMU community through prevention education programs, 24/7 in-person, crisis line, and chat support for survivors. As a SAPA member, I received hundreds of hours of training on empathic listening, statistics/laws about sexual violence, and crisis intervention skills. While in Graduate school, I worked in an administrative role within the organization providing support to the advocates in-training. While in Graduate school I focused my areas of study on supporting individuals from marginalized groups and identifying how the larger systems of oppression and supremacy impact the world, perpetuate violence, and silence many.

Justin From Finance/FarAway maybe unassuming at first mention, however, no sooner than entering into their presence do you realize the magnetism of their complex being. Their feigned ordinariness is hardly contained behind the inspired decadence of every wardrobe choice, vocal inflection, and subtly grand gesture.

Even their moniker is a statement of otherness and the unexpected, though expectancy is nothing that Justin from Finance lacks.
